2014-01-14 FCDCC Meeting Notes
We met in the Orchestra room at Ridgeview Classical School
Ridgeview Classical School on the southeast corner of Lemay and Stuart (1800 S. Lemay) Enter through the east side of the building.
Please welcome vistors and new members: Cat, Carrie, Stephanie, Kim, and the Loveland Club members.
Please pay your dues for 2013 to Harry Strharsky if you haven't already paid. You can find him at most meetings. Annual dues are $25/member with $15 for each additional spouse and $10 for each additional child under 18. Dues are prorated based on the month you join.
Check out the SIGs (Special Interest Groups); they have been holding lots of meetings and going on lots of outings. Participating in a SIG is an excellent way to develop your skills.
This month send your photograph submittals for the meetings to Gerry Cashman at gcash357@gmail.com. Remember to send in before and after versions of your pictures so we can learn about post processing. Please send in 3 or less pictures for the slideshow, and send them by Sunday evening so Gerry has time to create the slideshow.
January outing will be macrophotography at the Butterfly Pavillion on 1/18. Meet at the Harmony Transportation Center at 8am in the Northeast corner of the parking lot. We plan to go out for lunch after the shoot. The Butterfly Pavillion doesn't allow tripods, but does allow monopods.
January Coffee Meeting - Thursday 1/23 @9am at the Dazbog on Cherry
January Wildlife SIG outing will be 1/25 to photograph eagles. Meet at 7am at the Harmony Transportation Center to carpool.
February Club Outing - Eagles at the Farmington Bay Fishkill
Farmington Bay, UT (~30 minutes north of Salt Lake City)
