Big Boy Train visits Greeley
When: Thursday 7/17 11:30am-12:01pm and Saturday 7/19 8:30am-8:50am
Where: Greeley
From my experience photographing the Big Boy (maybe six times), there will be a big crowd in Greeley and it will be difficult to get a good shot of the engine. There are better photos to be had at locations before and after Greeley, though it won’t be stopping in those places. Nunn is a good location, with some grain silos, etc. for background. Also Eaton and Ault. But it’s a 30 second event when it blasts through.
