Travel Photography SIG

The Travel SIG currently has two objectives:
1. “Travelogue”: It will provide a forum for members to show pictures from their travels while also giving information about the places where those pictures were taken. Such information can include such things as what to expect there, how to plan a trip there, and when is the best time to go.
2. “Expedition Outings”: It will provide a forum for members to propose and begin the organization of multi-day photography outings which will require significant travel. This is in contrast to typical club outings which only last several hours including transit.

Meeting time:
The current intent is to meet monthly but whether the SIG will meet on a consistent day of the month is not yet determined. First meeting was Thursday, March 7, 2024 (first Thursday) but it will not continue on the first Thursday of the month. I intend the second meeting to be Thursday, April 18, 2024 (third Thursday).
