2023-01-10 FCDCC Meeting Notes

About 28 FCDCC members met online using ZOOM software. Please login between 6:00pm and 6:30pm. The social part of the meeting starts at 6:00pm, and the business part of the meeting starts at 6:30pm. Paul will email meeting invitations for the monthly club meetings and the monthly coffee meetings to all club members. If you haven't received your invitation by the day of the meeting, please send an email to info@fcdcc.com, and either Paul or I (Mike Barry) will send you the meeting ID and password. You will also find a link to the ZOOM meeting on the club website.

Please welcome Tom Pallach, he was our guest tonight.

If you ever have any problems getting into a club ZOOM meeting, please email me at info@fcdcc.com. I try to monitor the club's email account during the monthly meetings and will help you get into the meeting if you have any problems.

We need someone to volunteer for club president for 2024.

Pay your dues for 2023 to Dave Chamness (3854 Braidwood Drive, Fort Collins, CO 80524) if you haven't already paid. Annual dues are $25/member with $15 for a spouse and $10 for each additional child under 18. You can now pay your dues ONLINE with PayPal!!!

Collected dues are down, but our expenses are down even more so our club is doing well financially.

There will be a FCDCC Planning Meeting on Thu 1/12 @6:30pm. All club members are invited to attend. We will be deciding on speakers and outings for the rest of the year.

The wildllife at the Denver Arsenal have been particularly photogenic, especially bison in the snow. Elk and deer have been good subjects at RMNP.

We will continue to hold our club meetings on ZOOM until further notice due to the uncertainty of the COVID pandemic.

When you hear about interesting upcoming events, please email Mike Barry (info@FCDCC.com) and give him details so they can be listed on the website.

Many thanks to David Gonzales for his wonderful presentation on "Timing is Everything: Tales of Denver".

Our members contributed images to the January slideshow, and you can find it on the club website on the January 2023 page.

Please check out our club Facebook page by searching on Facebook for "Fort Collins Digital Camera Club". You are welcome to post fix-it or challenge topic or anything that you want on our Facebook page. I would like to see more pictures from our SIG outings on Facebook.

Email Mike, info@fcdcc.com, when you find mistakes, missing information or if you have suggestions for the website and I will try to address the issues.
