2013-06-11 FCDCC Meeting Notes

We met in the Gym at Ridgeview Classical School
Ridgeview Classical School on the southeast corner of Lemay and Stuart (1800 S. Lemay) Enter through the east side of the building.

Please welcome Denise, Jean and Shelley to our club.

Please pay your dues for 2013 to Harry Strharsky if you haven't already paid. You can find him at most meetings. Annual dues are $25/member with $15 for each additional spouse and $10 for each additional child under 18. Dues are prorated based on the month you join.

Check out what the SIGs (Special Interest Groups), they have been holding lots of meetings and going on lots of outings. Participating in a SIG is an excellent way to develop your skills.

Continue sending photograph submittals for the meetings to Bob Babbs at bobbabbs@aol.com. We are looking for a new volunteer to handle the photograph submittals. If you are interested please contact Bob. Remember to send in before and after versions of your pictures so we can learn about post processing.

We need to elect a "President Elect" for the club. The President Elect for this year will become the club President next year, and they are expected to cover the President's responsibilities if the President is not able to attend a meeting or outing. If you would like to be the President Elect, or would like to recommend someone for the position, just send an email to info@fcdcc.com.

The June Coffee Meeting will be Wednesday 6/26 at 9am at the Fort Collins Coffee House on Mason St.

The June Evening Meeting will be Thursday 6/27 at 5:30pm at Riverbend Park.

The June Club Outing will be Sunday 6/23 to photograph reflections in Denver. We plan to meet at 8am at the Harmony Transportation Center to carpool to Denver, shoot some pictures in the morning, get lunch in Denver, maybe take more pictures, and return to Fort Collins in the afternoon.

The July Club Meeting will be Tuesday 7/9 at 6:30pm at Ridgeview Classical School. Guy and Ken will describe their post processing techniques.

Lincoln - North on N. Lincoln to Blockbuster Express
* Greeley - Friday 6/14 4:30pm-6:30pm Proclamation Ride: The Clydesdales will hitch up in the Greeley Tribune parking lot (501 8th Ave.) and pull their wagon to 9th St. between 8th and 9th Aves.
* Fort Collins - Saturday 6/15 6pm-8pm, hitches up at 5:45pm at Sports Authority on College: Sports Authority - north on College to Walnut - Southeast on Walnut to Linden - northeast on Linden to Jefferson - northwest on Jefferson to College - South on College to Mountain - west on Mountain to Mason - east on Mountain back to College - south on college to Sports Authority.

We have delayed the product shoot at a Tim O'Hara's studio until sometime in July.
