Colorado State University Michael Smith Natural Resources Building, Room 345
Parking:
Recommended parking is in lots 349 and 350, a little bit east of the Smith building between Amy Van Dyken Way and Libby Coy Way. You can also park along Amy Van Dyken Way (zone 354) or Libby Coy Way (zone 352). Possible alternate parking areas are in lot 310 north of Engineering, or lot 425 west of Morgan Library (this lot may be crowded during the school year even after hours). To get to these areas, see the map below. You can also look at CSU’s map PDF.
Note:
in the parking zones noted above, parking permits and fees are not enforced after 4 pm. Look for the signs below to verify parking is not under enforcement. Please do not park in loading zones or areas specifically marked with extended enforcement times.
In the building:
Room 345, also known as the Horsetooth Rock Room, is in the southwest corner of the building. If you enter the door at the northeast corner of the building (which has been on the instructions for the annual February macro shoot), it is under a pedestrian bridge. There are elevators and stairs at the northeast and southwest corners of the building, as well as a stairwell in the atrium in the center of the building. Room 345 is accessed from a hallway that runs along the south side of the building that is separate from the main hallways as this part of the building is a later addition (and disturbingly does not show up on CSU’s 3D map). See the sketch diagram of the 1st and 3rd floor below — this diagram is not to scale.
