MEETING NOTES: Infrared SIG_27 APRIL 2023 _Second Meeting

The ZOOM gathering of the IR SIG was attended by Judy Cannon, Paul Marcoux, Rich Ernst, Albert Wang, Linda Haehnle, Tony Arnerich and was moderated by Walt Lyons

There was an initial discussion by attendees outlined their interests in the topic, new gear they have available, and the topics they may wish to pursue.

This was followed by presentation of various ProTips, including a new 550 nm color infrared filter and its capabilities.

A video by Rob Shea discussing several pitfalls of IR photography was shown.

Judy Cannon made a most informative presentation (“White Balance, Profiles and Color Swaps”) which demonstrated post-processing methods.

The Show and Tell portion included slides by Paul Marcoux, Judy Cannon and Walt Lyons.

The next meeting is scheduled for 7:00 pm Thursday, 22 June 2023, via ZOOM
