2019-03-12 FCDCC Meeting Notes We met in the Eagle 1 room at the Aztlan Center, 112 E Willow Street, Fort Collins, CO 80524 Please welcome Rich who was visiting our club. Please pay your dues for 2019 to Dave Chamness at the next meeting if you haven't already paid. You can find him at most meetings. Annual dues are $25/member with $15 for a spouse and $10 for each additional child under 18. Dues are prorated based on the month you join. Check out the SIGs (Special Interest Groups); they have been holding lots of meetings and going on lots of outings. Participating in a SIG is an excellent way to develop your skills. Conceptual Photography - Kai Frawg Please send your SIG outing schedules to info@fcdcc.com so I can add them to the website. Send your photograph submittals (corrected fix-it-photos, club outings, challenge topics, or your favorite images) to Walter Lyons at photoeditor@fcdcc.com. Remember to send in before and after versions of your pictures so we can learn about post processing. Please send in 3 or fewer pictures for the slideshow, and send them by Sunday evening so Walt has time to create the slideshow. We also accept short videos for the slideshow. April meeting challenge topics: "Mountains" and "Greenish". We had an equipment swap/sale instead of a presentation at our meeting. Sarah Lindsey will be speaking about portrait photography. She used to model for our club and has created her own portrait photography business. Please check out our club Facebook page by searching on Facebook for "Fort Collins Digital Camera Club". You are welcome to post fix-it or challenge topic or anything that you want on our Facebook page. We still need a President Elect. If you are interested please contact Monique. Kai will hold the first meeting of the Conceptual SIG on March 31 at 1pm. Please contact her if you are interested in joining the Conceptual SIG. We need a leader for the March club outing to the Greeley Model Train Museum. The leader doesn't have to do much, just meet people at the Harmony Transfer Center and tell them to go to the museum. The leader can choose the date and time of the outing. If someone doesn't volunteer we won't have an outing.
