2019-10-08 FCDCC Meeting Notes We met in the Eagle 1 room at the Aztlan Center, 112 E Willow Street, Fort Collins, CO 80524 Please welcome Bill, Bev, Mary, Amanda, Erin, Dave, Patrick, Amy, Jeff, Chris, Veronica, Jessica, Tyler, Meadow, and Duane who were visiting our club. We will be electing club officers for 2020 at the November meeting. We need a President and a President Elect for next year, please volunteer if you are willing to serve. We may delegate some of the President's responsibilities to volunteers to reduce the amount of work required from the president. We will be electing Club Officers for 2020 at the November meeting Please pay your dues for 2020 to Dave Chamness at the next meeting if you haven't already paid. You can find him at most meetings. Annual dues are $25/member with $15 for a spouse and $10 for each additional child under 18. Dues are prorated based on the month you join. The Post Processing SIG has been doing some mentoring. Contact one of the leaders if you would like help with post processing. Dave, Rich, and Paul have been arranging the Holiday dinner party, and they expect to finalize plans by 10/15. Check out the SIGs (Special Interest Groups); they have been holding lots of meetings and going on lots of outings. Participating in a SIG is an excellent way to develop your skills. Remember to send in before and after versions of your pictures so we can learn about post processing. Please send in 3 or fewer pictures for the slideshow, and send them by Sunday evening so Walt has time to create the slideshow. We also accept short videos for the slideshow.
