2020-03-10 FCDCC Meeting Notes
We met in the Eagle 1 room at the Aztlan Center, 112 E Willow Street, Fort Collins, CO 80524
Please welcome Tony, Rob, Wayne and Marlon who were visiting our club.
Please pay your dues for 2020 to Dave Chamness at the next meeting if you haven't already paid. You can find him at most meetings. Annual dues are $25/member with $15 for a spouse and $10 for each additional child under 18. Dues are prorated based on the month you join.
Check out the SIGs (Special Interest Groups); they have been holding lots of meetings and going on lots of outings. Participating in a SIG is an excellent way to develop your skills.

Sat 3/7 @9am - February club outing - Macro Photography Shoot at CSU
Organizers: Paul Marcoux and Jerry F. Magloughlin, CSU Associate Professor
Location: CSU Natural Resource Building Rooms 301, 316 and 345.
Hours: Set up time: 9:00 am to 9:30 am Photo-shoot: 9:30 am to early afternoon
Topic: Macro Photography: Flowers, oil in water, various small objects, etc.
Attendees are encouraged to bring appropriate items to photograph: feathers, leaves, water drop set up, focus stacking set up, etc.
Additional information will be available in early February.

Sat 3/14 @9am - March Club Outing to Bear Lake in RMNP
Explore natural ice features in RMNP. We will be hiking short distances around the Bear Lake area. Please bring crampons because we will be walking on ice. We may even see some elk.
Meet in the Front Range College (Harmony and Shields) parking lot SW cornor at 9AM. We can carpool from there.
Let me know if you plan on participating. Event is subject to weather.

Send your photograph submittals (corrected fix-it-photos, club outings, challenge topics, or your favorite images) to Walter Lyons at photoeditor@fcdcc.com. Remember to send in before and after versions of your pictures so we can learn about post processing. Please send in 3 or fewer pictures for the slideshow, and send them by Sunday evening so Walt has time to create the slideshow. We also accept short videos for the slideshow.

We didn't have a club presentation this evening, we had our annual gear swap instead.
