2020-10-13 FCDCC Meeting Notes
We met online using ZOOM software. Please login before 6:30pm when the official meeting starts. The social part of the meeting runs from 6:00pm to 6:30pm. Paul will email meeting invitations for the monthly club meetings and the monthly coffee meetings to all club members. If you haven't received your invitation by the day of the meeting, please send an email to info@fcdcc.com, and either Paul or I (Mike Barry) will send you the meeting ID and password.
Please welcome Dipak Goyal who was visiting our club meeting.
Pay your dues for 2020 to Dave Chamness at the next meeting if you haven't already paid. Ask Dave for his address and the current amount of dues so you can send him a check in the mail. Annual dues are $25/member with $15 for a spouse and $10 for each additional child under 18. Dues are prorated based on the month you join.
It is time to elect a new President-Elect for our club. Ralph Smith has been President-Elect, but he will become the President soon and we need someone to take over the President-Elect position. The President-Elect helps the President and becomes the next President. Please contact Paul Marcoux or Ralph Smith if you are interested in becoming the President-Elect. Mike Barry will remain the club Secretary, Dave Chamness will remain the Treasurer, and Walt Lyons will remain the Photo Editor.
Some of the SIG meetings and outings are being held on ZOOM, but many of them are on hold until the COVID-19 Pandemic is over.

Send your photograph submittals (corrected fix-it-photos, club outings, challenge topics, old and new, or your favorite images) (up to 8 images) to Walter Lyons at walyons@frii.com. Remember to send in before and after versions of your pictures so we can learn about post processing. Please send them by Sunday evening so Walt has time to create the slideshow. We are working on adding videos to the slideshow, but we haven't figured out how to do that yet.
November meeting challenge topics: "HDR" and "Scary Stuff".
Please send images (Fix-It-Photos) that you would like everyone to try "Fixing" to Mike Barry at info@fcdcc.com.
If you don't already have a headshot on the website, please send one to Mike Barry at info@fcdcc.com.
Many thanks to Pat Farrington for his "Photography Equipment Trends" presentation.
We will save the Member Submissions part of our club meeting to a PDF file and you will be able to find it on the club website on the October 2020 page.
Please check out our club Facebook page by searching on Facebook for "Fort Collins Digital Camera Club". You are welcome to post fix-it or challenge topic or anything that you want on our Facebook page. I would like to see more pictures from our SIG outings on Facebook.
Email Mike, info@fcdcc.com, when you find mistakes, missing information or if you have suggestions for the website and I will try to address the issues.
