The FCDCC Video SIG met via Zoom on September 27 from 6:30 to 8pm.
Persons attending: Judy Cannon, Walt Lyons, Paul Marcoux, Guy Turene

1. Sharing - Walt shared timelapse videos of clouds using various Infrared Filters. Paul shared some video of geese taking off. Judy shared video of still photos of a Nightingale with audio from a recording she made with a hand held recorder, and explained how she edited the audio in Final Cut Pro to eliminate background noise.

2. Judy demonstrated how to take photos from a timelapse sequence and make them into a video in Photoshop and in Quicktime Player.

3. We spent a fair amount of time at the meeting and after discussing future meetings and agreed on the following:
The next Video SIG meeting will be held as previously scheduled the 4th Tuesday of the month, October 25 from 6:30-8pm. Main topic will be slow motion video. After that meeting the Video SIG will be held on the 4th Thursday of the month, odd months beginning in 2023. So the next meeting after October would be January 26, 6:30-8pm.
Walt will lead a new SIG for Infrared Photography. The first meeting will be Thursday, November 17, 6:30 to 8 pm. After that first meeting, regular Infrared Photography SIG meetings will be held on the 4th Thursday, even months in 2023, 7pm-8:30 pm beginning February 23.
No meetings will be held in December for either the Video or IR SIGS.
Judy has acquired a Zoom pro license so will begin hosting the Zoom meetings for both SIGs.
Judy will continue to lead the Video SIG and Walt will lead the Infrared Photography SIG.
I think that is what we finally agreed upon, but please let me know if anyone understood differently.
